Medication overuse headache (MOH) is a chronic daily headache and a secondary disorder in which acute medications used excessively causes headache in a headache-prone patient.

It is usually is diagnosed after failure of headache relief with episodes with multiple painkillers, i.e., triptans and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
