Trigger Point Manual Therapy
Our personalized neck alignment program offers relief for those suffering from neck pain and tightness.
The most informative Neck Health Exam that contributes to your personalized therapy plan.
There are three phases of our Neck Alignment Exam: Movement Control Testing, Cervical Proprioception Testing and Hands-on Assessment. This exam is done in a private room with you and your therapist. The Exam identifies pain generators, muscle imbalances, and dysfunction in neck alignment. This provides us with your overall neck health performance to uncover the underlying “why”.
Spinal Alignment
Our daily lives cause forward head posture escalating headaches and neck tension. This can lead to a straight cervical spine, which interferes with erect and proper posture. We exam your alignment to start a treatment plan to fix it.
Cervical Proprioception
Proprioception is a crucial aspect of our sensory system that helps us maintain coordination, and spatial awareness of our neck while we are upright all day long. We can detect dysfunction in proprioception to enhance movement control and reduce pain.
Muscle Imbalances
We commonly find muscle imbalances in our exam, which explains the “tug of war” that your neck goes through all day long! Finding these deviations is necessary to allow for smooth and coordinated movement to promote neck health.
Movement Control Diagnostic Testing
If you’re ready to find relief and begin your journey, feel free to call us today to discuss how we can help.
The most informative Thoracic Spine Health Exam that contributes to your personalized therapy plan.
There are three additional phases of our Neck Alignment Program Exam to examine the nervous system output from the thoracic spine: Movement Control Testing, Reverse Kyphosis Testing and Hands-on Assessment. This exam is done in a private room with you and your therapist. The Exam identifies pain generators, muscle imbalances of your shoulder girdles, and dysfunction in thoracic spine alignment. This provides us with your overall thoracic spine and nervous system health performance to uncover the underlying “why”.
Postural Correction
Our daily lives cause additional thoracic kyphosis posture escalating tension in your mid-back and shoulders. This can lead to a stiff thoracic spine, which interferes with erect and proper posture. This ultimately affects your neck. We exam your alignment to start a treatment plan to fix it.
Reverse Kyphosis Testing
Increased forward bending or slumped positioning can lead to thoracic dysfunction. This increases tension on the dorsal structures in the thoracic spine causes mechanical irritation of the neural structures. With tinnitus, this negatively influences the sympathetic nervous system .
Muscle Imbalances
We commonly find muscle imbalances in our exam of your shoulder girdle muscles, which explains the “tug of war” that your upper back goes through all day long! Finding these deviations is necessary to allow for smooth and coordinated movement to decrease compensation patterns and promote nervous system health.
