The personalized mix of our therapies is what gives you relief.
Have you ever thought…is it normal to have headaches? The answer is no! We help you understand your personal neck health.
There are three phases of our Headache Program Exam: Movement Control Testing, Cervical Proprioception Testing and Hands-on Assessment. This exam is done in a private room with you and your therapist. The Exam identifies pain generators, muscle imbalances, and dysfunction in neck alignment. This provides us with your overall neck health performance to uncover the underlying “why”.
Our daily lives cause forward head posture escalating headaches and neck tension. This can lead to a straight cervical spine, which interferes with erect and proper posture. We exam your alignment to start a treatment plan to fix it.
Proprioception is a crucial aspect of our sensory system that helps us maintain coordination, and spatial awareness of our neck while we are upright all day long. We can detect dysfunction in proprioception to enhance movement control, reduce pain and take away headaches.
We commonly find muscle imbalances in our exam, which explains the “tug of war” that your neck goes through all day long! Finding these deviations is necessary to allow for smooth and coordinated movement to promote neck health.
