Dix-Hallpike Manuever

Our personalized BPPV relief program offers relief for those suffering from dizziness and vertigo.

When you trust your vertigo to the team at PhysioFit of North Carolina, we take the time to get to know the whole you so we can personalize your recovery program for your unique and complex condition. There is hope for a better tomorrow, and we’re committed to helping you get back to what matters most to you.

With our 1-on-1 sessions, your therapist will take the time to get to know you and your complete personal history to help identify all contributing factors related to your vertigo.

Leveraging the latest movement-based technologies, our vestibular exams will pinpoint the correct faulty canal(s) that are causing your positional vertigo.

A detailed clinical Vestibular Exam that contributes to your personalized therapy plan.

There are three phases of our BPPV Relief Program Exam: Peripheral vs Central causes, Canalith Repositioning Testing, Vestibulo-ocular Assessment and Balance Analysis. This exam is done in a private room with you and your therapist. The Exam identifies inner ear vs brain involvement, positional vertigo, and balance dysfunction. This provides us with your overall vestibular and other systems’ performance to uncover the underlying “why”.

Canalith Repositioning Manuevers

With our technology and expertise, we can determine which canal(s) are causing your BPPV and implement the most appropriate manuever.  If done correctly, these techniques are highly successful.

Vestibular-Ocular Assessment

Often referred to as a vestibular ocular reflex (VOR) assessment, this is a series of tests and evaluations used to assess the functioning of the vestibular system and its interaction with the visual system.

Balance Analysis

A diagnostic process used to assess an individual’s ability to maintain their equilibrium or stability, particularly while standing or performing various movements.
