When we hit our physical and mental peaks.

When we hit our physical and mental peaks.

Science has discovered when we hit our physical and mental peaks.

While it is true that outstanding sprinters and swimmers peak younger, around their mid-20s, endurance athletes such as marathon runners peak in their early 40s.

In terms of mental acuity, people hit their peak vocabulary at around 65, while overall intelligence and knowledge are at their best in your 40s and 50s.

Even though we peak differently with these activities, there are two physical activities that we should and can maintain as we blow out candles each year.

  1. Walking

  2. Looking straight ahead

As you probably notice with individuals older than you, you can tell the two activities above are harder.

This is shown physically with impaired posture and slower walking pattern.

With proper exercise, nutrition, stress management, and sleep, we can definitely help ourself feel better as we age.

At PhysioFit, we take this information much further.  We help test, treat and teach you how to maximize walking and looking straight ahead as you age.

We do this with six tests.

These six movements are based off making us the most efficient and structured humans to maintain our peak performance.

Yes, we may not be able to run or remember names as well as we did in our 20s, but, we certainly do not want to not be hunched over and have  difficulty walking when we get in our 60s and 70s.

You can also learn about how we help you get symmetry and balance for the entire body by reading about our 6 Green Zones.
